About Mi-T-M Corporation:

Mi-T-M Corporation (pronounced "Mighty M") is located just 12 miles west of the mighty Mississippi River, in Peosta, Iowa. (Peosta is very close to the point where Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois all come together). Founded in 1971 by A.J. Spiegel, Mi-T-M has grown steadily to the point of building a 390,000 square foot manufacturing facility in 1995. The Mi-T-M plant features state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, and offers a continually-expanding line of products and services.

Expanding Product Offering
In its early years, Mi-T-M Corporation began manufacturing cold-water pressure washers for the paint industry. The paint contractors who used the pressure washers were so impressed with the power they provided, they would call up A.J. Spiegel and tell him he made one "MighTy" machine. The first unit A.J. built was 1000 (Roman numeral "M") PSI, hence the name Mi-T-M Corporation came into being. The quality and durability of the first cold water pressure washers earned a reputation for Mi-T-M which helped launch the company to service the largest paint companies, rental yards, heavy equipment, and farm implement companies in the country. As the customer base grew, so did the product offering. Today, Mi-T-M provides:

State-of-the-Art Manufacturing
With the growing product line, it has been necessary for Mi-T-M Corporation to assemble the highest quality manufacturing equipment in the industry.

Laser Cutting: Our metal fabrication area incorporates laser cutting equipment for extreme precision, and quick and accurate computer-programmed set-up. In addition, laser technology can be used in the precision processing of various materials including: aluminum, brass, steel, plastic and even wood

7-Stage Powder Coat Paint System: Once the metal components have been laser cut and completely fabricated, they are then introduced to our 7-stage powder coat paint system. The parts move at a rate of 3 to 8 feet per minute through the conveyor system where the parts are washed, rinsed, treated with a phosphatizer, and rinsed with deionized water before painting. The parts are then carried by conveyor to the Nordson Excell 2000 electrostatic powder coat booth to be painted with either manual or automatic paint guns. Once painted, the parts continue on to the cure oven, which can be programmed to heat the painted parts up to 490 degrees Fahrenheit.

100% Product Testing to Ensure Quality: At the end of each manufacturing line, and as part of the manufacturing process, is a final testing booth. Each product is thoroughly tested before it leaves the factory and is marked with the name of the assembly team on it. The quality of the product is tracked and the production team is rewarded based on product quality. This helps ensure each product that leaves the doors of Mi-T-M Corporation has had the utmost care in manufacturing and test.
